April Showers Bring May Flowers

So we're well into our first week of May, I thought it would be fun to showcase some work I helped with back when I worked at a florist shop. ** I am no where near a professional florist, I was hired to help with customer service and such, but my boss and co-workers were so awesome and taught me a few things about flowers and the art of wrapping flowers, arranging, and simple corsage and boutonniere construction. anyways, I was the baby at the shop, so everyone really dedicated time to teach me. Funny thing prior to ever working at a flower shop I had this vision of what it would be like and surprisingly it is the very opposite... it's actually a very hard grind and hustle of a occupation, although beautiful and you get to see your share of customers and requests, there is so much pressure, competition, and drama... i won't go into too much detail since i'm not trying to hate on the floral industry just saying it's not what you make it out to be people. anyways since it's like around prom season i thought it would be nice to show you some of the work my old work did.

yellow local roses & dyed blue purple dendrobium orchids

** ALL THE PICTURES ABOVE ARE THAT OF MYSTIC GARDEN'S PROPERTY, either taken by me or my co-worker Jocelyne Ampon of Pistil Stamen.  **

NONE OF THIS WAS PAID FOR, I JUST WANTED TO SHOWCASE SOME OF THE WORK my old work did.

anyways i would showcase more, but it's somewhere in my old computer. hope you enjoyed the beautiful flowers... remember to take a little time to stop and really smell the flowers, or even just stop and look at the beautiful natural details mother nature has created.
