I HATE GROUP PRESENTATIONS -______________-

throughout my academic career which spans over a period of probably 18 years of formal education... i have always hated group projects/presentations for the fact that i some how always get jinxed with an anchor(s) in the group, the people who are lazy, laggy, and just don't seem to give a poo about the other people's grade or efforts. i'm not saying im a genius or the sharpest knife in the drawer, but i TRY! As i reach the last two weeks of this semester which are also the last two of my undergrad career, i am stuck with two separate group projects which SUCK >__________< for the mere fact that several of my group members from each class are careless and lazy. i really do feel horrible for judging because i truly don't know each person's personal circumstances, but i feel if you're investing so much money and time into this thing called college, why would you waste your efforts not caring?!
such behaviors really boggles my mind, but whatever i'm going to suck it up and just get this done with. I swear though, i just seem to have the worst luck with groups... maybe it's because i'm the oldest child and always take on the leader role and have high expectations.. anyways we won't get into that today because that's a WHOLE other story and requires psychoanalysis & a professional to break that all down. hope everyone's week is going well, we're almost half way through the week!

  1. I totally understand you!! I hate group projects too... Theres always those 1 or 2 people that slack off and expect the other group members to just pick up the slack! GRRRRR~ I can't believe college students still slack off like they're in middle school ): Goodluck with your groups & congrats on almost graduating!!~ ^^

  2. Aww thank you chica your comment was so sweet!

I hate group presentations to I always get stuck with people who don't want tondo any work or worse with people who want to do it their way and don't accept any advice or opinions on the project. To say that I'm happy to not be in school any longer is an understatement hahaha

  4. Hi Shirley! I totally understand - when i was still in school, there was ALWAYS at least one lazy person who didn't care much... and were very good at making it look like they were contributing but they really weren't. Arrrggh! Anyway, you're almost done so hang in there!

Thanks for your comment on my "Big Day" post! i LOVED your flower tips, thanks for that! I'm a month and a half away from our wedding and I haven't even gone to any flower shops to order anything. I'm thinking of just going to Costco since I heard they have beautiful flowers and arrangements for an affordable price. Do you have any thoughts on them?
