CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS WITH MY FAMILY :)
so with every year, my family drives up to Central California into the valley to spend the holidays with my mom's side of the family. there's always good food and plenty of laughter with the family, as I've grown older I am coming to the realization that my family means so much more to me and I know how lucky I am to have such a large family... anyways my uncles who don't live in the valley also drive up and we spend the holidays together...
Christmas eve, my family arrives at my uncle Jeff's restaurant for dinner. ( Both my uncles whom are twins own restaurants in Modesto, we usually celebrate eve at one and day at another. we spend our time at my grandparent's house, but for dinner we usually go to the restaurant so that we can facilitate everyone)
my grandparents * excuse the patrons in the back, they were eating their dinner and decided to stay longer, even though we already started bringing out dinner... some people just never get it -_____-
this year we had our gift opening at my cousin's house.
all the kids in chronological age order *minus the two youngest cousins who fell asleep. i'm the oldest on my mom's side.
my sisters and i
all the cousins once again.
fast forward, christmas day dinner we had prime rib and other fixings, here's the kid's table and the bf surprised me by driving up to my grandma's :D
after dinner, we rushed back to the city to have an opportunity to open presents with the bf's family.
here's chowder on top of bf's mom's present from us.
the bf and his family :)
