a day to celebrate many occasions :)

so to pick up where I left off. the following day after my little sister's birthday was my doggie (the baby) Chowder's 3rd birthday. Chowder came into my life 3 years earlier on my 20th birthday, when the bf surprised me with a puppy. it happened so fast, the month previously we went shopping at our local mall and went to the pet store, there within the pet store they had a selection of doggies in the back. i saw this adorable teddybear dog, i think that's what it was called... anyways, and i commented on how nice it would be to have a doggie of our own, he said it was cute but best not to purchase from a pet store. so we left and i thought nothing of it... then a month later around my birthday he surprised me with the little baby :D i was ecstatic and touched beyond words. as a child I had always wanted a dog, but my parents hated the idea and would say, " you can't even take care of yourself, how will you take care of a dog?" or something along the lines "who's going to bathe and pick up its poop?"..
well back to the day, so not only were we celebrating our baby's 3rd birthday, the bf's mommy had arrived 40 years previously to the US on the exact same day. we decided to go out and have a nice dinner and returned home to celebrate with our special little guy.below will be some pictures of that day.

the cute clock that stood above the restaurant's entrance. the really cute thing about this restaurant was that it was created to feel like you were inside an old train like structure, the environment was quant and inviting.
holiday decorations hung throughout each booth of the restaurant.
